The Pinterest "Pin It" button can be added to most major web browsers and allows you to quickly pin content you find to your personal Pinterest account. Installing the "Pin It" button only takes a few moments, and the process is mostly automatic.

Installing The Button

1. Visit the Pinterest Goodies page in the browser you want to add the "Pin It" button to. The website is pinterest.com/about/goodies/.

You can install the Pin It button in Chrome, Internet Explorer, Firefox, and Safari. 

2. Click the "Install Now" button. Follow the prompts that appear to install the button. You may need to allow software to be installed, or click an "Add" button. The process varies slightly depending on your browser and security settings.

3. Turn on the Command Bar (Internet Explorer only). Some versions of Internet Explorer will hide the Command Bar where the Pin It button is installed. To see the Pin It button, enable the Command Bar.

Right-click on the Internet Explorer window's title bar.

Click the "Command Bar" option.

4. Click the "Pin It" button to save interesting content from websites. The photos on the website will be displayed in the window, allowing you to choose which one you wan to Pin.

You can also click the "Pin it" button that appears when you hover over images to quickly Pin them.

5. Sign in to Pinterest. If you aren't already logged in to your Pinterest account, you will be prompted to log in after choosing to Pin something.
