2. Upload a pin. To do this, click on the plus sign near the lower-right corner of the screen. A drop-down menu will appear; choose “Upload a Pin,” and a small window will appear.

Click on “Choose Image” to browse your computer for the photo you want to upload. Click the picture and then choose “Open.”

3. Pick a board. After uploading, a new sub-window will appear to let you choose a board for your photo.

If you want to create a new one, simply click on the drop box next to “Board” and then type in a name inside the “Create New Board” box.

When you're done, click “Create.”

4. Add a description. A description is important so you can explain what's the photo about. Type in special moments to remember by or a little note related to the picture (e.g., Things to do, Vacation home, Book to read, etc.).

When you're done, click “Pin it.” 

5. Add a map and invite friends. After clicking “Pin It,” a new window will appear. It will ask if you want to add a map or not. If you choose yes, you get to choose the location for the photo.

This is useful for travelers and users who want to have a vacation.

You also get to invite your friends in the pin, like tagging. If they're not in pinterest, you can add their e-mail instead before clicking “Done.”
